Daniel Eggington

Daniel Eggington has spent the better part of a decade working and leading in the field — tropical rainforest, mountain and cold-weather environments. The thread running through all of it is the same: long-duration operations, small teams, low infrastructure.

The work has taken in solo and team expeditions across Central and South America, training and mentoring for civilian and uniformed groups, and the slow accumulation of judgement that only comes from time on the ground.

Today that experience funnels into three things — running and writing up his own expeditions, speaking publicly about the lessons that came out of them, and providing consultancy to individuals and organisations preparing to operate somewhere hard.
